Assistant Buyer

A footwear retailer is seeking an assistant buyer to support their dynamic retail buying team and help shape future footwear ranges. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on product, understands the balance between creativity and commerciality, and is eager to take the next step in their buying career.

Working closely with the buyer and cross functional partners, you will contribute to range building, supplier management, critical path tracking, and trading decisions. The retailer needs someone confident in working with design and technical teams to develop new concepts, refine prototypes, and ensure products meet both brand standards and customer expectations. If you’re proactive, collaborative, and excited by the opportunity to influence product from initial idea to final sign off, this role offers a strong platform for growth within a fast paced retail environment.

The role is paying up to £35,000 plus a benefits package. They're based in London with hybrid working and flexible start and finish times in place.
